Hey everyone, Happy Easter!
No dramatic explanation for the radio silence of late, just another variation on the usual: Caught whatever local crud was going around my child’s school, and although the miserable part was comparatively short and mild, I spent a solid month or so afterwards operating at about 60% of baseline energy-wise.
[For those who are new here, I have one of those diseases where “pushing through” is a terrible idea that doesn’t work anyway and sometimes causes very nasty consequences, whereas doing what the internist says is a good idea, even though it means not-what-I-like.]
—> It turns out that if you have to eliminate on no notice 40% of your life activities, things get . . . well. How they got. That’s how.
If you are a paying subscriber, FYI I extended your subscription to make up for the service outage here. Thank you so much for your support!
If you are a praying subscriber, I apologize sincerely for any worrying I caused, but thank you for praying me through all this. I’m doing great now, just need to catch up on all the things that got pushed aside during the convalescence.
There are so many things I have wanted to write about, and hopefully soon the many posts in my head will start to see daylight.
In the meantime, let’s do an open combox prayer request thread, we’re long overdue. All readers can leave comments below, regardless of subscriber status. What’s going on in your life? What would you like prayer support for in the months ahead? Ministry discernment? Work stuff? Home life? Scary situation? Just plain worn out, bored, overwhelmed . . . or trying not be?
Let our little community hold you up in prayer as you go through the thing.
God bless.

Happy Easter Jen! I'm so sorry you've been at 60%.
I'd appreciate prayers for my new work--I am leaving my position in the Diocese of Winona-Rochester and leading a new apostolate titled The Mark 5:19 Project. Creating thriving, apostolic parishes and fostering baptismal leadership.
Thanks!
Oh and I forget to post my big ones:
-For successful wedding planning for upcoming eldest daughter's wedding.
-For discernment for next year for our parish's catechetical outreach to parents of religious ed students
-For healing for several close friends and relatives dealing with daunting medical problems.
And I could really use prayers for getting my house in order (literally) because it's a bit chaotic with having to pick and choose what gets attention and what does not. Much sitting on the back burner far too long.
Thanks!
